The last few days I've had a twitching in my left eye. It only occassionally happens, but when it does, I can feel it and my sight out of that eye jiggles around a bit. It's a very strange sensation, and I've no idea what causes it.
Posted by davechan at December 4, 2003 03:16 PMMaybe the substances mentioned in “Sleepless nights”?
Or maybe just tiredness?
Drink some staminade :-)
Posted by: Fiona at December 4, 2003 05:09 PMa friend of mine gets a really funny eye twitch[to me and others] whenever he has vinegar, without fail... we can always tell as he will twitch uncontrollably while eating salt & vinegar chips... it is sooo funny! damn we are harsh ;)
Posted by: cheer at December 4, 2003 11:25 PMMine twitches if I am really stressed - or sometimes, after the stress.
I think it's time to roll out your yoga mat Dave!
Posted by: Louisa at December 5, 2003 01:21 AMIt could be something to do with the fact that you are trying to give up coffee.
Posted by: Phil at December 5, 2003 08:44 AMEye twitching is usually caused by fatigue, local irritation of the cornea or some kind of nervous reaction.
Judging from your recent posts, I'd venture a guess and say fatigue and lack of sleep.
Posted by: Dave Swain at December 5, 2003 05:25 PMyes maybe you are twitching your eye due to excitement caused by my birthday...
Posted by: cheer at December 6, 2003 02:20 AMHappy birthday mate :)
Posted by: davechan at December 6, 2003 03:11 AMIf you have increased your exercise recently it is probably due to a lack of salt. I don't want to encourage you to increase your salt intake, but it is quite possible that your change in eating habits since going to Sydney has reduced your salt intake.
I agree with Fiona, drink Staminade, Powerade etc to get some electrolites.
